Heaven is a special place that God is preparing for people who have received Jesus Christ as their Savior and been forgiven. Being saved is as simple as ABC, and here’s how to do it:

A

ADMIT that you are a sinner. The first step in being saved is to admit to God that you have done wrong and do not deserve to go to heaven. The Bible says: “For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23

B

BELIEVE that Jesus died for you. Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to earth to die on the cross to pay for our sins. Three days later, he arose from the dead. He is now in heaven preparing a place for us. The Bible says: “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

C

CALL on Jesus to save you. If you are willing to repent (turn from your sin) and believe that Jesus died for you and rose again, simply ask him now to save you from your sin. The Bible says: “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Romans 10:13) Salvation is a free gift—simply receive it by faith!
